Create, market, communicate.

That’s what I do, and I love it — but this is who I am:

At the core, I’m a problem solver.

My favorite questions start with how and why.

I enjoy finding ways to monetize ideas. And reading — I’m a voracious reader. My two favorite advice columns, the Washington Post, Adweek, and Forbes are daily destinations.

I live an active lifestyle.

Outside of the office — when there’s not a global pandemic happening — you’ll find me playing 9 holes of golf, running 3-4 miles with friends twice per week, and crushing the competition with my softball team. I’m your favorite first baseman’s favorite first baseman.

After a driver ran a red light and crashed into me, I feared my days of running and sports were over. After 2 months of physical therapy twice a week, I needed to know how much my body could take, so I trained for and finished the Mizuno Half Marathon in Amsterdam. (Check out my medal, below!) I’m currently training for my second half marathon, taking place in January 2021.

Adventure? Let’s go! Over the past few years, I’ve taken surfing lessons in Panama (it’s hard!), trekked to the Big Buddha in Hong Kong, made new friends in Beijing, and learned how to make sushi in Tokyo. Where’s the next trip? When the pandemic ends, I look forward to exploring Morocco and Thailand.

I give back.

I believe to whom much is given, much is expected in return. You can find me volunteering for causes that advocate for communities and children.

…and marketing is life.

During a 2-week trip through Asia, I documented how American brands position themselves in Asian marketsjust for fun.

I’m fascinated by all things marketing strategy + branding and enjoy meeting like-minded people. I’m always looking for a new problem to solve, so if you have one, get in touch.
